Sportsmark 2008 Award for The Corsham School

sportsmarkThe Corsham School is delighted to announce that they have been awarded the Government Sportsmark Award 2008, in recognition of the high quality of Physical Education provision at the school, for the second year running.

Our Mid-Wilts SSP Corsham family cluster of Primary schools has also been awarded the Activemark for the second year running.

The national Sportsmark Award is designed to recognise schools that are delivering high quality PE to all students, based on curriculum time and extra curricular enrichment activities.

Activemark and Sportsmark are awarded annually and reward delivery of the national PE, School Sport and Club Links (PESSCL) strategy.  They are open to all schools which are part of a School Sport Partnership.  For the second year, schools are automatically assessed for one of the marks through the national school sport survey, which all partnership schools take part in.
