Twenty eight students took part in the Castle Cake competition on Thursday 2nd April. The standard of the cakes was fantastic with a huge amount of effort obviously put in by all students involved.
Miss Cummins the Head of History had the very difficult task of judging the cakes for authentic castle characteristics; the competition was extremely tough. The winners were eventually decided after much deliberation and were: Amy Leask in 1st place, Georgia Bozas and Faye Mitchell in 2nd place and Melissa Lye in 3rd place.
The year 7 charities have benefited hugely from this event raising over £120 from the sale of these fabulous cakes. A huge thank you to all those students involved who have contributed with their time, effort and money and thanks to all parental help too.
