Last Friday saw the culmination of a lot of hard work to put on this year’s Children in Need auction. Members of the Sixth Form were allowed to attend school in fancy dress and an auction of items and promises was held in the Sixth Form Centre.
Lots included a cruise on a canal boat, Smurf cookies, a giant bunny, USB memory sticks, a half price skid pan ticket at Castle Coombe and a hug a day; to name but a few.
It was an amazing event raising lots of money for the BBC Children in Need appeal.
Mr Bolter said “we raised over £1200 in the auction and more from the fancy dress. The money is still coming in. The office will have a total shortly and I guess it will be around £2,000!”
