Peacocks for Corsham in Bloom

Mazy Bartlett has recently been working with  local artist Anna Mackie to build 6 peacocks for planting out and entering into Corsham in Bloom.

The peacocks have also had students from our school and our local primaries working on them, and local families also lent a hand, at the regular Family Learning session that runs at The Pound.

Council gardeners will take them away at the end of term, to be planted out, then during the month of July they should reappear around Corsham, covered in flowers.

An exhibition of the work done for the project will also be on display in the Town Hall, when judging is taking place.

If you want a preview of the work in progress, look out for The Wiltshire Times this Friday (21st) as there should be a piece going in, along with a picture.
